After a while..

After a short gap of one day, I reached the college, but, a little late. The first hour was Yoga class. We got the opportunity to practice some foot exercises and some asana's. Our body and mind got refreshed after the class.

During the second hour, Revathy ma'am, who is an M.Ed student taught us some portions in Technology paper. She taught us Computer Assisted Instructions and their techniques.

The third hour was optional subjects. The class was handled by Sathyalekha ma'am. She as a part of their internship programme for M.Ed students, is going to take the classes for two weeks. She could easily develop a rapport with us, by getting acquainted with us. She then taught us the multiple forms of intelligence.

After the lunch break, the internship session continued. The portions were intelligence, types of education and education & Democracy.

Power of positivity

The first hour was taken by Maya ma'am. She told us the importance of being positive and about the readiness to change positively. She also taught about the term Paradigm shift.

"A paradigm shift is a major change in how people think and get things done that upends and replaces a prior paradigm."

At the end of the hour, we sang some energetic Malayalam songs together.

Just after that, our Principal Benedict sir welcomed the M.Ed final year students from Govt College of teacher education to our college for their two weeks internship programme. 

Later, we had the class of Gibi teacher. She taught us about the maxims of teaching.

The next hour was English optional. We submitted our assignments and divided each one's portions for textual analysis.

The afternoon class was of Ancy ma'am. She made us aware of the 'stages of development"

It's a new year! After the winter vacations, the college reopened today as a fresh beginning. A new year brings new hopes, especially when you have entered a new phase of your life recently. So I wish this year could give some positivity to all the new student teachers. 

The first hour was optional period. We divided the groups for content analysis and had a discussion.

The next hour, Joju sir gave us an inspiring new year message. He enlightened us about the scope of E-content creation and the significance of technology in today's world.

The afternoon hour was handled by Maya ma'am. (What taught)

And we went back to our home. The first day of 2022 at MTTC was full of positive vibes which did give me hope to lead my 2022 happily🤗

Christmas @ MTTC

Hey Mar Theophilus College.. Do you know how beautiful you are? All draped in colourful stars and decorations! You look so pretty.....

The atmosphere was so mindblowing and vibrant from the main gate to my college in the morning. The meeting was scheduled to start at 11.00 am. We organised our carol team to have a final practice.

The meeting started at 11.00 am with a prayer, followed by the Christmas messages by our principal KY Benedict sir and Bursar(the union chairman). And last but not the least, our chief guest Fr. Jolly Karimpil soothed our minds with his Christmas message.

In between, we had a small cake cutting session in our English classroom.

Later, we had various programmes conducted by students. Carol songs, dance, role play, solo songs added more colours to the eve.

No celebration is ever complete without our unofficial happy frames.

Will be back at MTTC after the winter vacation. Time to bid farewell to 2021 only for welcoming 2022 with more hopes and desires. I would be entering my college in the next year to start again from the beginning.....

X'mas is near!!!

I reached the college a little early today. The Maths department well did their assembly today. Their special 'quiz session' was interesting. Their assembly came along with the international mathematics day. Oh! What a perfect coincidence😀.

The first hours were optional subject. We continued sharing our experiences with teachers.

The next hour was the class by Maya ma'am. She resumed explaining the qualities and competencies of a teacher.

Later Ancy ma'am discussed child psychology and its principles.

The afternoon session included the practice for tomorrow's Christmas carol song. Also, we participated in the 'Letter to Santa' contest too.

I am eagerly waiting for tomorrow's x'mas celebration at MTTC. Today I am going to my bed with a curious and excited mind.

21st Day, 21st year of 21st century

Our class started with a socially relevant discussion today. Thank you Joju sir for taking the initiative for discussing the issues caused by the internet, in an era where technology is inevitable. As upcoming teachers, the discussion could enlighten us with the numerous troubles caused by the cyberworld. 

The next hour was handled by Maya Ma'am, who taught us about the qualities and competencies of a teacher.

The afternoon session was spent for the X'mas card making competition. We used our creativity at the best and the result is here.

The final hour was an insight into the different aspects of video editing and analysing. Joju sir successfully guided us to watch a video from the director's perspective.

Week "Begins"

Its monday again🙂..An energetic day after the holidays. First two hours was optional subjects. We continued sharing our best and negative experiences from teachers. It was like a platform to open up the untold stories in our hearts. 

After that it was Joju sir's class. He divided the asignment topics and explained the portions in the technology paper. 

In the afternoon session, Joju sir discussed the difference between technology in education and technology of education.

Later it was the library hour till 3.30.
